case studies

We have a wide variety of people that arrive at the Nomad Trust Shelter each day, some have travelled further or may stay longer than others, but they have all entered our doors in need of our help in some way, even if just for a meal, a blanket, a warm bed or aspirations of a better life. Each person carries with them a history unknown, it is due to this that our night shelter staff have gathered together the memoirs of some of the service users that have kindly offered to tell of their nomadic journeys and accounts that have brought them to our doors. We hope that in reading the backgrounds and circumstances that have fallen upon certain people in our community, that it will give an accurate portrayal of how easy it can be to become homeless, the kind of support we offer and that hope can be returned to many peoples' less fortunate lives. (For the client's protection, names have been modified for use in the following case studies)
