resettlement advice and outreach support
Nomad can provide not only warmth and companionship but also clothing vouchers and starter packs for those who have been offered accommodation. All Service Users are required to work with our Resettlement team, who are there to help by arranging contact with the appropriate agencies in order to meet the Service Users varying needs.
Once settled, the resettlement team assist individuals to sustain their tenancies. Legal or medical advice can not be offered but help with 'move on', life skills and counseling is available. The Nomad Trust endeavours to offer confidentiality in compliance with the Data Protection Act. The team is there to try and alleviate any concerns the Service User may have and to aid them in their search for accommodation and the services they require. Various leaflets with information are available to all, which include contact numbers for agencies, churches and the nomad projects.
